Solution Architect

Requirements:

• 6+ years experience as a Solution Architect.
• Proven experience working in a large enterprise bank within the past 3 years.
• Experience in one or more of the following: Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and technology risk.
• Experience with ServiceNow is desirable.
• Knowledge of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of operational resilience frameworks, RTO/RPO, backup and disaster recovery, and dependency mapping.

Responsibilities:

• Create resilience-focused high-level and low-level designs aligned with enterprise architecture and cloud strategy.
• Translate Operational Resilience and DORA requirements into actionable designs.
• Act as a design authority for resilience initiatives, reviewing and approving technical designs.
• Provide architectural input into programmes including technology modernisation, cloud migration, and system decommissioning.
• Produce documentation and reporting.

We are a Global IT Services Provider recruiting for a Solution Architect to design end-to-end technical solutions aligned to operational resilience regulations and our internal frameworks. This is an initial 6-month contract role, offering 1–2 days a week in Sheffield and an inside IR35 arrangement at £700–£800 per day.
