Software Developer - 2D iGaming Clients

Salary: £30,000 - 37,000 per year

Requirements:

• Solid working knowledge of at least one object-oriented language, ideally Java or C#
• Genuine comfort picking up and working productively in large, established, or legacy code you did not write
• A pragmatic, adaptable approach to an unusual, constrained, bespoke environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make progress on unfamiliar problems with limited information
• Ability to take on multiple tasks, prioritise work, break tasks into sub-tasks, and provide estimates
• Ability to review other developers code and identify problems
• Ability to make changes and contributions to large internal codebases
• A track record of delivering to an agreed specification with minimal bugs
• Confidence with Git branching and merge requests in a team environment
• Good grasp of OOP and common design patterns
• Comfort working in a regulated environment where accuracy and compliance matter

Responsibilities:

• Build front-end game clients for our online casino games, specifically 2D slots including reels, game logic, UI, and animation
• Create new game titles
• Reskin existing games with new graphics and themes
• Extend existing titles with new features, mechanics, and visual treatments
• Help shape and build the next generation of our platform, including a new C#-based framework
• Bring existing titles across to our new framework
• Work across new games, established games, and platform development
