Senior Technical Lead

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a technical leader with strong ServiceNow development expertise and solid knowledge of SecOps or ITSM frameworks and practices.
• We need proven experience delivering and implementing ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) or IT Operations modules in enterprise environments.
• We require a solid understanding of cyber security or IT operations controls, with the ability to design solutions that support defence-in-depth, embedded security, or AI-driven automation.
• We are looking for strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to lead technical discovery and manage complex, ambiguous requirements.
• We need extensive experience designing, delivering, and supporting security solutions across on-premises and cloud environments, aligned to security standards and architecture.
• We are seeking someone with experience in security areas such as incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence, or IT operations areas such as incident management, CSDM, and CMDB.
• We value the ability to develop clear, actionable recommendations for improvement.
• We expect experience working with architecture, security, engineering, production, and infrastructure teams.
• We are looking for someone able to advise senior stakeholders on platform feasibility, delivery approaches, and timelines.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the design, development, and delivery of secure, high-performing ServiceNow solutions that support our cybersecurity and service performance ecosystems.
• We provide expert-level ServiceNow capability alongside deep knowledge of cybersecurity or IT operations.
• We support project teams with complex platform implementations, integrations, and design decisions.
• We build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and agree ServiceNow development approaches.
• We provide clear, pragmatic guidance on challenges arising from ServiceNow programmes, including new security, risk, or IT operational capabilities.
• We manage delivery against the ServiceNow technical roadmap within our area.
• We ensure all activity aligns with platform architecture, security standards, and agreed technical principles.
• We advise senior stakeholders on the ongoing evolution of the ServiceNow platform.
• We work closely with production, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, and scalable.
• We shape the platform roadmap and drive technical standards, embedding secure-by-design principles throughout.
