Senior Staff Software Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on high-scale distributed systems and API platform architecture.

• We require deep experience navigating compliance, security, and data residency challenges in enterprise environments.

• We require experience writing RFCs and influencing stakeholders across product and engineering.
• We require active use and advocacy of AI tools to streamline software development workflows.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you serve as a technical strategist, enabling 10x API delivery speed and building trust for enterprise adoption.
• We will have you architect a hyper-scalable infrastructure designed to support exponential growth in traffic and data volume.
• We will have you define the technical vision for our microservices so our systems remain resilient, secure, and performant.
• We will have you lead the technical side of strategic partnerships, including integrations with AWS Marketplace and enterprise SaaS providers.
• We will have you own trust-related features such as granular billing, residency controls, and auditability.
• We will have you establish platform standards for contracts, versioning, and security.
• We will have you build self-service tooling and automated quality gates that empower product teams to deploy independently without breaking production.
