Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Ideally hold UK Security Clearance, preferably DV.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in a similar business partner, relationship, sales, or technical role within the technology industry.
  • Bring broad technical knowledge, an understanding of enterprise architecture and familiarity with architecture standards and cloud platforms.
  • Have a passion for AI and its potential to make the world safer, healthier, and fairer; experience with data management, AI, analytics, fraud detection, or intelligence is desirable.
  • Be willing to travel to customer sites as required and be comfortable facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and delivering software demonstrations.
  • Ideally have experience in the territory, such as working with the MOD as a civil servant or service member, or in UK Policing or National Security.
  • Demonstrate customer discovery, active listening, and high-value questioning skills.
  • Be able to translate business and mission requirements into compelling SAS solutions and connect technology to measurable customer outcomes.
  • Bring business and industry acumen, storytelling, presentation, writing, and demonstration skills for technical and executive audiences.
  • Have workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, creative problem-solving, influencing, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
  • Build trusted relationships and collaborate across functions, with strong adaptability, curiosity, organisation, prioritisation, and project leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on how public sector organisations can create business value and meet their goals through data and the deployment of AI and analytical solutions.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact between clients and SAS, translating business needs into value-generating solutions using SAS software, cloud offerings, and associated services.
  • Define and execute the technical strategy in alignment and close partnership with the account executive and wider engagement team.
  • Lead technical and pre-sales work for new business opportunities, including defining and owning the technical engagement plan and building and leading multidisciplinary pursuit teams.
  • Address complex customer situations using knowledge of industry standards, SAS solutions, and customers technology landscapes to help achieve positive outcomes for both the customer and SAS.
  • Deliver a high-quality, impactful customer experience and demonstrate SASs value through presentations, discussions, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and other formats.
  • Use technical and industry expertise to shape a compelling vision, influence stakeholders, adapt material to the audience, and address objections through influencing and negotiation.
