Senior Solution Architect

Salary: £40,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require SC Clearance.
• We need experience in infrastructure solution architecture and transition/transformation solution design.
• We need experience identifying transition/transformation success factors and measuring them.
• We need strong experience in risk analysis and risk management.
• We need experience in audit and due diligence activities for customer estates.
• We need project and programme management experience, including planning, delivery, and reporting.
• We need experience implementing and managing transition/transformation processes in multi-supplier environments.
• We need experience with post-transition/transformation reviews.
• We need experience in legacy service decommissioning and disposal.
• We need experience in data centre migration, application migration, and operational readiness.
• We need technical architecture and solution design experience for large IT change programmes.
• We need experience providing architecture services and technical oversight for new data centres.
• We need experience with hybrid Agile / Waterfall delivery.
• We need experience qualifying technical risks, issues, and dependencies, and coordinating resolution or escalation.
• We need knowledge of DMZ architecture.

Responsibilities:

• We design transition and transformation solutions that support the implementation of new services, suppliers, architectures, and processes.
• We identify and measure transition/transformation success factors.
• We carry out risk analysis and risk management.
• We conduct audit and due diligence activities for the current customer estate.
• We manage project and programme activities, including planning, delivery, and reporting.
• We implement and manage transition/transformation processes and coordinate resources across multiple suppliers where required.
• We perform post-transition/transformation reviews to confirm objectives, success factors, and benefits have been achieved.
• We plan, deliver, and coordinate legacy service decommissioning and disposal.
• We support data centre migration, application migration, and operational readiness activities.
• We provide architecture services and solution design for large IT change programmes.
• We provide technical oversight and guidance for configuration of systems and services in new data centres.
• We define solution approaches and document current service deployment details for target data centres.
• We coordinate technical implementation activities.
• We assess technical risks, issues, and dependencies, and coordinate resolution or escalation.
• We share our DMZ architecture knowledge to support decision making and strategy definition.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Solution Architect with SC Clearance to support transition and transformation solution design services for new services, suppliers, architectures, and processes. You will work across architecture, programme delivery, and technical implementation, with exposure to data centre and application migration, operational readiness, and legacy decommissioning. The role also includes working in hybrid Agile / Waterfall environments and supporting decision making through our DMZ architecture expertise.
