Requirements:

• We require demonstrable experience across the full development lifecycle for Microsoft Power Platform.
• We require strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform architecture and components.
• We require strong experience developing in PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and SharePoint.
• We require deep understanding of Model-Driven Apps and Canvas Apps.
• We require experience of migrating existing business solutions from older technology to PowerApps.
• We require experience working with internal stakeholders to capture requirements and turn them into implementable solutions.
• We require experience establishing Power Platform environments, users, licenses, capacity management, and backup policies.
• We require strong PowerApps practices and strategies to optimise performance, security, and scalability.
• We require experience producing technical documentation and user guides.
• We require experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• We require experience supporting training for other team members, including pair programming and mentoring.
• We require experience supporting UAT with business users, capturing and reporting defects for review and remediation.
• We require strong experience in application building and architectural design.
• We require experience working with product management to define and refine requirements, establish the MVP, and minimise technical debt.
• We require experience working in a matrix team with developers, product managers, designers, and architects.
• We require strong business analysis skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the council.
• We require understanding of integrating PowerApps with third-party cloud solutions through APIs.
• We require understanding of OAuth.
• We require experience with SQL.
• We require experience with formulas, C#, or JavaScript.
• We consider Dynamics 365 / Azure experience desirable.
• We consider Power Platform Functional Consultant PL-200 desirable, although Power Platform experience and passion are more important.

Responsibilities:

• We will work with business stakeholders and the development team to design, build, and deliver high-quality solutions supporting our adoption of PowerApps across the council.
• We will design, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• We will help improve applications that make a real impact on how our services function and on the lives of our residents.
• We will work with internal stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into solutions for implementation.
• We will establish and manage Power Platform environments, users, licenses, capacity, and backup policies.
• We will develop Power BI reports and dashboards.
• We will support training for other team members in the use of PowerApps, including pair programming and mentoring.
• We will support UAT with business users and capture and report defects for remediation.
• We will work with product management to define and refine requirements and establish the MVP of the solution.
• We will collaborate within a matrix team involving other developers, product managers, designers, and architects.
