Senior React Full Stack Developer

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for experience at senior or lead level as a full stack developer.
• We want demonstrable project experience using modern web technologies, with a strong focus on front-end development.
• We want experience with React and ideally Next.js.
• We want experience with Python or Django.
• We would like experience or exposure to headless CMS and API-driven architectures.
• We want experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• We want good communication skills and experience working with external technical stakeholders.
• We require full, unrestricted rights to work in the UK; we do not offer company sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you lead modernisation projects on web applications for our science research platform.
• We will have you take a leading role as a Senior Developer in our digital transformation.
• We will have you help realise innovative web products.
• We will have you shape the user experience and improve visibility and stakeholder engagement.
• We will have you work hands-on across design, build, test, optimisation, and operation.
• We will have you contribute technical leadership to our new web application projects.

We are a science research organisation in the UK, based in Duxford, Cambridge, with a strong focus on public communications and sharing news of our successes to support future growth. This is a full-time Senior Developer role on an initial 24-month fixed-term basis, with the possibility of extension to be discussed near the end of the term. Hybrid working is available with a minimum of two days in the office, and other flexible full-time arrangements may be possible.
