Senior IT Security Principal

Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading security incident response activities.
• Strong expertise in vulnerability management and enterprise threat hunting.
• Experience with security frameworks, compliance programmes, and governance practices.
• Knowledge of identity and access governance, including role-based access control.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide security initiatives and collaborating across technical and business teams.
• Relevant GIAC certification such as GSEC or equivalent preferred.
• Membership of recognised security professional organisations preferred.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or enterprise reviews preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership across security operations, incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability management, security architecture, identity and access governance, and compliance activities.
• Lead the response to complex cybersecurity incidents.
• Drive enterprise-wide risk reduction initiatives.
• Advise senior stakeholders on security strategy.
• Mentor security professionals.
• Deliver cross-functional projects that strengthen our overall security posture.
