Senior ISP Solution Architect

Salary: £29,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a Senior ISP (Information Systems Professional) Solution Architect.
• We work closely with IT teams to develop innovative technical solutions that address complex business challenges.
• We ensure solutions adhere to architectural principles and applicable best practices.
• We design and develop innovative solutions to solve business problems and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies across the Council.
• We require someone who can help optimise our enterprise architecture and align solutions with our broader IT Digital Strategy.
• We need someone who can co-ordinate team activity and help ensure successful team performance.

Responsibilities:

• We co-ordinate and produce Solution Design Authority response documents, ranging from standard to complex, including phased or extended solution designs.
• Where identified, we implement, improve, maintain and monitor controls and governance for all solution design documents.
• Where identified, we are responsible for the full delivery of solution designs, software governance approvals, and supporting IT Services to meet and/or exceed agreed service levels and Operational Services Levels.
• We collaborate closely with our IT teams to develop innovative technical solutions.
• We ensure our solutions align with architectural principles and best practices.
• We support the PMO and project teams to deliver solutions for our customers.

We are Bradford Council, and our Solution Architecture team sits within Enterprise Architecture and System Services in IT Services. We design and develop solution designs based on customer requirements, producing documentation from standard to complex high-level and low-level designs. We support the PMO and project teams to deliver solutions, and this role contributes to optimising our enterprise architecture in line with our IT Digital Strategy.
