Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Salary: £160,000 - 200,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development using Python or similar coding languages.
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch and architecting AI systems on cloud platforms such as GCP.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using both vector databases and RAG-like architectures to power enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Preferred: Masters degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Preferred: Experience implementing multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or ADK and complex patterns such as ReAct, self-reflection, and hierarchical delegation.
• Preferred: Experience in a post-sales or technical consulting delivery function.
• Preferred: Knowledge of LLM-native metrics such as tokens/sec and cost-per-request, and techniques for optimizing state management and granular tracing.
• Preferred: Ability to communicate fluently in French, German, Spanish, Italian, or another European language to support client relationship management in this region.
• Preferred: Ability to travel regionally to engage with local stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, moving rapid prototypes into production-grade agentic workflows that drive measurable ROI.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between our AI products and customer live infrastructure, including APIs, legacy data silos, and security perimeters.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to ensure our agentic systems meet requirements for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and friction points in our AI stack, converting them into reusable modules or formal product feature requests for our Engineering teams.
• Co-build with pre-sales and product teams to instill Google-grade development best practices and ensure long-term project success and high end-user adoption.
• Act as an embedded builder within customer environments, coding, debugging, and jointly shipping bespoke agentic solutions.
• Solve integration complexities, data readiness issues, and state-management issues that prevent AI from reaching enterprise-grade maturity.
• Provide white-glove deployment of complex AI systems while serving as a feedback loop to influence our future product roadmap.
