Senior DevOps Systems Administrator

Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require at least 3-5 years of DevOps experience, including hands-on AWS experience.
• We require experience with VMware or Proxmox.
• We require strong Linux skills with networking and cloud security knowledge.
• We require experience working with Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes (for example, EKS).
• We require confident scripting ability in Bash, Python, or Go.
• AWS certifications and knowledge of security tools such as Trivy are beneficial.
• This is a permanent position, and we are seeking candidates who can demonstrate longevity of service with previous employers.

Responsibilities:

• We design, deploy, and support infrastructure across AWS and private cloud.
• We automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• We build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• We implement observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.
• We work across teams to improve reliability and security.
• We manage hybrid networks, IAM, firewalls, and VPNs.
• We lead automation efforts and help architect robust hybrid cloud solutions.
• We mentor others while developing our leadership capabilities.
