Senior Data Analyst

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have achieved a 2.1 or above in a relevant field such as Data, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, or another quantitative discipline.
• We have strong experience as a Data Analyst within financial services, supporting front office or market data functions.
• We have a good understanding of financial instruments, market data, pricing, and time series data.
• We are highly proficient with SQL and querying large datasets.
• We have experience working with trading, research, risk, or compliance stakeholders.
• We have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• We can manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with both technical and business users.
• We have experience with market data vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, or similar.

Responsibilities:

• We take ownership of our market data services as part of a small team, working in conjunction with teams in New York and Singapore.
• We help improve data quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency across multiple asset classes.
• We work closely with Trading, Research, Risk, Compliance, and Middle Office teams to understand data requirements.
• We deliver new datasets and support business-critical initiatives.
• We evaluate new data vendors and define requirements for data projects.
• We oversee testing and production releases.
• We act as the technical point of contact for complex data issues.
• We combine technical expertise with stakeholder management and mentoring to ensure our market data remains accurate, timely, and fit for purpose.
