Senior 3rd Line Network and Security Engineer

Salary: £28,000 - 68,000 per year

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations
• CCNP or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of at least three of the following: Routing and Switching; firewall technologies (especially ASA/Firepower); WiFi (especially Cisco/Meraki); Cisco ISE; Cisco ACI; SD-WAN (Cisco/Meraki); Palo Alto (NGFW/Panorama/Strata Cloud Manager); F5 Load Balancers
• Skills in DNA, SD-Access, OTV, or VXLAN

Responsibilities:

• Provide third-line technical support for our internal and external network and security customers, troubleshooting and resolving incidents through to conclusion
• Share knowledge with our wider team through internal training sessions and ad hoc assistance
• Assist our third-line Network and Security Engineers with troubleshooting and case-handling guidance
• Design and implement complex configuration changes for customers
• Peer-review configuration changes from the wider team before implementation
• Take ownership of customer escalations and drive them through to resolution
