SAP PI/BTP Integration Suite Developer

Salary: £51,000 - 91,000 per year

Requirements:

• Were looking for experience developing integrations across A2A and B2B environments.
• We expect strong knowledge of XML and JSON formats.
• You should be capable in at least one programming or scripting language, such as ABAP, VB, C++, PowerShell, Groovy, XSLT, XQuery or SQL.
• You should have experience with middleware applications and integration methods.
• Were looking for knowledge of SAP PI, SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP BTP Services or API Management.
• You should understand software development principles and methodologies.
• You should have experience planning, creating and carrying out tests for programme components.
• You should be able to document system configuration requirements clearly and accurately.
• We value a good understanding of business processes, ideally within procurement or ITIL management.
• You should have strong English language skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Visio, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Wed also welcome experience with Agile or Scrum, integration monitoring and troubleshooting, JMS Queues, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, EDI standards, cXML, xCBL, SuccessFactors integrations, SAP ECC, IDOCs or ProxyClasses.
• Were looking for a logical, analytical approach to problem solving, strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

• We design, develop and implement integration solutions across internal systems.
• We plan, develop and carry out testing to ensure high-quality, error-free delivery.
• We investigate, troubleshoot and resolve system issues after implementation.
• We document our work clearly and consistently in line with agreed standards.
• We work with internal customers to understand requirements and support service improvements.
• We coordinate and implement system configuration changes.
• We share improvement requests and feedback with development teams.
• We prepare progress updates and collaborate with project managers and team leaders.
• We keep up to date with relevant technical information and apply it quickly where needed.
