Salary: £29,000 - 69,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced SAP professional with a strong background in ABAP development and supporting live SAP environments.
• We ideally want experience in SAP ABAP development.
• We ideally want experience in Object-Oriented ABAP.
• We ideally want experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC.

• We ideally want experience in technical design and performance optimisation.
• We ideally want experience in debugging and troubleshooting.
• We ideally want experience with SAP enhancements, including User Exits, BAdIs and the Enhancement Framework.
• Experience supporting SAP modules such as Warehouse Management (WM), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Supply Chain, Logistics Execution (LE), or Sales and Distribution (SD) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom SAP ABAP solutions.
• Provide second- and third-line SAP technical support.
• Create reports, interfaces, enhancements and forms.
• Debug and optimise existing ABAP developments.
• Support integrations with external systems, including EDI and Azure-hosted applications.
• Work with Business Analysts to deliver approved technical solutions.
• Support testing, deployments and change management activities.
• Produce technical documentation and follow development best practice.
• Contribute to SAP improvement and upgrade initiatives.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our established in-house IT team. You will become a key member of a small SAP team supporting and enhancing a business-critical on-premises SAP environment that underpins warehouse, logistics and wider business operations across multiple UK locations. You will work closely with our Senior SAP Engineer, splitting your time approximately 60/40 between ABAP development and technical support, and contributing to future SAP enhancement projects as we continue to invest in our technology landscape. This is an office-based role in Gosport, requiring attendance five days per week, and we are offering a salary of £55,000 to £60,000.
