Principal Full Stack Engineer (Agentic AI)

Salary: £54,000 - 94,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering capability, primarily in TypeScript; Python is an additional benefit.
• Backend and API development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to design, deploy, and operate production-grade AI systems, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Expertise in Agentic AI systems, including RAG, prompt engineering, LLM integration, MCP, agentic workflows, model evaluation, and fine-tuning.
• Cloud infrastructure expertise for deploying AI applications; AWS is preferred.
• Expertise in CI/CD best practices, including orchestration, containerization, and testing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Preferred: Experience with monorepo technologies such as Nx or Lerna; infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform; multi-application deployment pipelines; and frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Svelte.
• Preferred: Experience with multi-agent orchestration tools such as LangGraph, LangChain, or PocketFlow, and evaluating prompts, agents, and pipelines in multi-agent solutions.
• Preferred: Experience with Neo4j or a similar knowledge graph database technology.

Responsibilities:

• Design and lead delivery of our Agentic AI platform and applications, including RAG systems and agent workflows, for internal and external customers.
• Establish engineering best practices for GenAI and LLM applications, including system design patterns, evaluation approaches, and standards for reliability, scalability, and maintainability across the AI engineering lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers, influence architectural direction, and drive successful delivery and adoption of Agentic AI capabilities.
