Power BI Developer

Salary: £38,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Power BI, including report creation, data modelling, and DAX scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data interpretation.
• Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
• Understanding of key metrics and trends within the retail industry.
• Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise Power BI dashboards and reports to present key business metrics.
• Collaborate with our analytics team and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs.
• Integrate multiple data sources into cohesive reports and dashboards.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on Power BI functionalities.
• Maintain and update existing reports to reflect changing business needs.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in data pipelines or reporting processes.
• Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and best practices to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Optimise data models and visualisations for performance and usability.
• Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Support our analytics team with advanced data analysis tasks.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on Power BI best practices.
