Penetration Tester

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• British passport holder or Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR); no sponsorship available
• Must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC)
• No right to work restrictions
• Current or previous CHECK Team Member (CTM / CSTM) status
• Relevant industry certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, PenTest, or equivalent
• Hands-on commercial penetration testing experience across web applications and/or infrastructure
• Proven ability to scope, conduct, and report on engagements independently
• Strong written English and the ability to produce clear, client-ready reports
• Comfortable working remotely and managing your own time and workload

Responsibilities:

• Conduct web application and infrastructure penetration tests across a varied client base
• Produce high-quality, client-facing reports that clearly communicate risk and remediation
• Support CHECK-scope engagements where appropriate
• Contribute to methodology, tooling, and internal knowledge sharing
• Work collaboratively with a team of technically strong, certified consultants

We are growing our pentesting team and are looking for a strong mid-level tester who can hit the ground running. This is a fully remote role for UK-based candidates, working UK hours, with a salary of £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience and certification. We invest in development and work on high-quality engagements for serious clients, with technical leadership and a collaborative team environment. Additional desirable experience includes red team operations or adversarial simulation, advanced certifications such as CRTP, CRTO, or CSTL, cloud exposure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience across sectors such as finance, public sector, and healthcare.
