Network Design Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in low-level and high-level design of complex network solutions.
• Proven experience in network design, ideally with enterprise or public sector clients.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• HPE Aruba certification to Associate level.
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba AOS-S Switches.
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba AOS-8 WLAN.
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba AOS-CX Switches.
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba AOS-10 WLAN.
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba Central.
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba ClearPass.
• Solid working knowledge of Aruba SD-WAN.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking technologies is advantageous, including Traditional Cisco WAN, Traditional Cisco LAN, Cisco Wireless, Cisco SDA, Catalyst Centre, and Cisco ISE.

Responsibilities:

• Capture detailed customer technical requirements and translate them into technical solutions design.
• Manage and deliver the technical direction of the solutions design.
• Manage review and validation processes for both new and in-life products and services.
• Manage customer solutions design engagement, statement of work creation, and third-party deliverables.
• Facilitate strong customer relationships at a senior level.
• Plan and implement customer migrations.
• Resolve complex solution and service issues, leading root cause analysis and escalation.
• Identify potential risks and implement controls and mitigations.
• Ensure delivery of thought leadership in complex bids and agree a strategic approach.
• Take high-level designs into low-level detail at post-sale stage.
• Implement the solution and carry out thorough testing before handover to support or managed service teams.
