.NET Developer

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years commercial experience developing with .NET/C#.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level business applications.
• Experience building and integrating APIs with third-party systems.
• Commercial experience developing solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working across both cloud-hosted and on-premise environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and code quality.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable .NET applications using C#.
• Build and integrate REST and SOAP APIs with internal and external systems.
• Develop cloud-based solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Contribute to the modernisation and enhancement of existing applications.
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within live production environments.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Take ownership of features and contribute to continuous improvement across development practices.
• Utilise modern development tools, including AI-assisted technologies, to improve efficiency and code quality.

This is a hybrid role in the Midlands, with one day per week in the office, and a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 DOE.
