Job Description

Salary: £45,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of numerical methods for solving ODEs and PDEs
  • A PhD in a STEM subject
  • Good numerical programming skills, ideally in C#
  • Good technical communication skills
Responsibilities:
  • Develop numerical methods for new software products
  • Create and modify numerical methods for solving PDEs and ODEs
  • Produce robust and efficient algorithms for engineering fluid flow simulation software
  • Implement numerical methods in code
  • Work closely with programmers to convert mathematical insights into finished products

We are developing the next major revision of our engineering fluid flow simulation software, with many new features on the roadmap, offering engaging work in a formal and collaborative environment. You will join a team of mathematicians and scientists focused on core mathematics, working closely with programmers. The role is full-time in the office and based in Cambridge.
