Lead Oracle Applications Developer
Job Description
Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year
Requirements:- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) experience, both functional and technical
- Oracle APEX experience
- Ability to own the full project lifecycle end to end, including gathering requirements directly from business users
- Ability to work on site in Cardiff five days a week
- Take responsibility for Oracle EBS and APEX development at our manufacturing business
- Enhance, support and optimise our Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) environment
- Design and build modern Oracle APEX applications, both standalone and integrated with EBS
- Lead requirements gathering with business users and run projects end to end
- Troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues across EBS modules and interfaces
- Maintain and enhance a small portfolio of supporting VB.NET and Python applications
- Prototype new tools and process improvements to keep our systems ahead of the business

We are a large manufacturing business with a small, close-knit IT team based on site at our busy Cardiff manufacturing site. This is a hands-on Lead Oracle Applications Developer role where you will work closely with business users from the first conversation through to go-live, with real ownership and visible impact. We offer a salary of up to £55,000, company pension contributions of up to 10%, an early finish every Friday at 1:30 pm, flexitime, free on-site parking, a canteen, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays rising to 30 days with service, enhanced family and sickness pay, an Employee Assistance Programme, and life insurance at four times your salary. Working hours are 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 7:45 am to 1:30 pm on Friday.
