IT Technician - Education

Salary: £30,000 - 32,000 per year

Requirements:

• Passionate interest in IT and a solid technical background
• Self-driven, enthusiastic approach to customer service
• Strong communication and organisational skills, a team-oriented attitude, and a cheerful disposition
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and proactively identify ways to improve services
• Google Chrome Workspace experience
• At least two years experience as an ICT Technician or in a 2nd-line role in the education sector is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities:

• Resolve and manage technical issues affecting school operations by providing robust technical solutions
• Install and repair computers with standard applications and networking software, and diagnose and resolve operational problems
• Handle technical duties relating to computer networks and desktop services, including existing installations and upgrades
• Maintain IT hardware and software across school sites, including desktop computers, iPads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, PA equipment, AV lecterns, and related hardware
• Act as a liaison between schools and our client, keeping schools informed about available products and services
• Manage customer accounts and help schools improve their ICT provision to support teaching and learning
