IT Systems Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of Azure, Entra/Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Hands-on experience working with Windows/Linux servers, virtualisation, and on-premise and cloud infrastructure, plus DNS and GPO
• Experience managing company devices, software deployment, mobile communications, and ideally Microsoft Intune
• Good knowledge of switching, routing, Wi-Fi, network monitoring, VoIP, network security, and cyber security practices
• Experience of ERP systems, ideally IFS Cloud, plus Cyber Essentials/ISO27001

Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day operation, monitoring, security, and performance of our IT systems across multiple UK locations
• Support and administer our Microsoft Azure/Entra environments, Microsoft 365, Intune, and wider server and IT infrastructure
• Work across Azure, Entra/Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, servers, networking, and cyber security in a broad, varied, and hands-on role

We are an established in-house IT team within a global engineering business operating across industrial contracting, service, and project environments that support customers across the food and beverage, manufacturing, process, and nuclear sectors. This is a 12-month contract role with potential to turn permanent. The role is broad, varied, and hands-on, supporting IT infrastructure across multiple UK locations. The package includes a salary of £45K-£50K, 26 days holiday, pension, life assurance, and sick pay.
