IT Support Technician

Salary: £28,000 - 31,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require an IT qualification at Level 2 or five GCSEs at grades A-C, or equivalent.
• We are looking for experience providing IT support, or a strong interest in developing within the IT sector.
• We need familiarity with hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting.
• You should be highly organised with strong problem-solving and workload-management skills.
• You should be comfortable working independently while being supported by our wider Cardiff-based team.
• You should be customer-focused with a professional and approachable manner.

Responsibilities:

• We provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• We manage helpdesk tickets and complete tasks within agreed SLA timeframes.
• We build, configure, and install PCs, laptops, and software applications.
• We support Windows, Mac, and Chrome operating systems, Office 365, and Google Workspace.
• We troubleshoot printers, scanners, photocopiers, audiovisual equipment, and Wi-Fi networks.
• We support mobile devices through Microsoft Intune, Google Workspace for Education, and the Hwb Digital Learning Platform.
