IT Service Delivery Manager

Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience in a similar IT service delivery role
• Proven experience managing and developing teams
• Previous experience in vendor and contract management
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external parties
• Exposure to .NET, SQL and Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience owning incident and problem management processes
• Happy to be office based 3 days a week within a commutable distance to Watford

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of 3-4, providing day-to-day direction, workload management, performance support and career development
• Work with the Technical Governance Forum to promote best practice across development, coding standards, testing, documentation and technical delivery
• Act as the main operational point of contact between IT and the wider business, managing escalations, resolving queries and building strong stakeholder relationships
• Communicate IT activity, incidents, changes and planned downtime clearly and proactively across the business
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and third-party suppliers, ensuring SLAs, contracts and service performance are effectively managed
• Own business-facing incident and problem management, coordinating major incidents, root cause analysis and corrective actions with internal teams and suppliers
• Oversee application and service management, including ownership, monitoring, release management, change control, documentation and disaster recovery
• Maintain a working understanding of technologies including .NET, SQL and Microsoft Power Platform, working with the Technical Governance Forum on technical and architectural decisions
• Ensure IT governance, security, compliance and audit requirements are met across operational services and applications
• Identify and deliver continuous improvements to IT processes, technology and service delivery
• Contribute to IT budgeting and ensure spend is appropriately managed and justified

We are a well-established company based in the Watford area and are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Delivery Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid working position, with 3 days in our Watford office and 2 days working from home. The role reports directly to the Head of IT and Projects and works alongside the Data Manager and PMO Manager. We offer a salary of £55,000 to £65,000 plus great benefits.
