IT Project Manager

Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience delivering complex IT projects from initiation through to completion
• Experience working within a complex, regulated environment
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Strong commercial, contractual and supplier management experience
• Experience working within or alongside Cyber Security / Cyber Resilience environments
• Experience working in a largely outsourced environment would be beneficial
• Previous experience within the utilities sector is desirable
• Degree-level education or equivalent
• PRINCE2 or PMP qualification
• Relevant practitioner-level project management qualification
• ITIL experience/qualification would be advantageous
• Knowledge of Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) regulations would be highly desirable
• Experience within a Cyber Resilience setting would be highly desirable

Responsibilities:

• Leading and delivering IT, technology and cyber security projects end-to-end
• Developing project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables
• Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and budgets
• Working with and influencing stakeholders at all levels
• Managing third-party suppliers and vendor relationships
• Matrix-managing resources across the organisation
• Ensuring appropriate governance and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Developing project adoption and change management plans
• Supporting training, transition and handover into BAU
• Managing projects across a range of contractual and commercial environments

We are working with a leading organisation operating in a complex and highly regulated environment, and we are looking to appoint an experienced IT Project Manager to join our Cyber Security Programme. This is a key role within a significant multi-year programme, based in Newport/Hybrid, with a salary circa £70,000. We work closely with senior stakeholders, business sponsors, IT teams and third-party suppliers, and we offer the opportunity to help deliver important technology, change and cyber security projects with strong governance and reporting throughout.
