IT Manager, Logistics, Hertford

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Solid experience as an IT Manager or in an equivalent role, ideally with broad ownership in a small or lean team
• ERP experience is essential; Syspro experience is a strong advantage
• AWS experience is preferred, though Azure or GCP will also be considered
• Confident with Active Directory, enterprise networking, and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
• A track record of managing IT security, budgets, and supplier negotiations is essential

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of our IT function and set the direction for the department
• Lead a small UK-based IT team supporting sites across the UK, France, and the US, plus our worldwide sales network
• Manage infrastructure, systems, and business applications across the organisation
• Oversee our AWS environment, including EC2, RDS, VPC, and S3
• Manage Windows Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, and networking
• Support our Syspro ERP system covering supply chain and warehousing
• Support Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
• Oversee internal web applications built on MSSQL and MySQL with Git/Bitbucket version control
• Support our customer-facing Magento site
• Own IT security across the organisation
• Manage budgets and deal directly with suppliers on cost and value
