IT Engineer

Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
• Experience with Windows Server
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
• Experience with Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience with Windows desktop support
• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience with backup solutions and endpoint security
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line technical support to our internal users
• Support and administer our Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy and user administration
• Assist with hardware deployment, software installations and device configuration
• Support networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and switching
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer and mobile device issues
• Work alongside senior stakeholders to coordinate IT priorities and ensure business continuity
• Maintain documentation and follow our IT best practices
• Assist with ongoing infrastructure improvements and IT projects where required

We are recruiting for an experienced IT Engineer to join us on a 3-month, office-based contract outside IR35. This is a hands-on opportunity to support a well-established organisation during a busy period of growth and change. You will work as part of a small IT team, helping to keep our Microsoft-based environment running smoothly while contributing to day-to-day support, infrastructure maintenance, and small projects across the wider business.
