Dynamics 365 Business Central Systems Accountant

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a Certified Financial Accountant with significant experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• We need someone proficient in data interrogation with advanced Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• You should have demonstrated ability to manage system configurations and implement changes within Business Central.
• Experience with C/AL, AL code, and Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central is desirable.
• Experience in the fashion industry environment is desirable.
• You should have exceptional organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills are required, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• We collaborate with the financial controller to uphold and enhance internal financial controls, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and compliant.
• We address inconsistencies in management reporting by analyzing financial documents and transactions, highlighting issues, and initiating necessary system updates and user training.
• We maintain and improve financial governance across all finance systems and processes, including automating manual journal entries to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• We oversee the usage and treatment of credit memos and invoices within the system, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
• We manage and refine inventory valuation, journal entries, and accrual processes, collaborating with the systems team on data integrity and system fixes.
• We design and streamline month-end processes specific to the fashion industry within Business Central, ensuring timely and accurate financial closure.
• We lead the onboarding of additional entities into Business Central across various regions, including Spain, Italy, and Germany.
• We develop and maintain robust reporting systems to monitor and manage user errors and system processes effectively, ensuring thorough and reliable order management and invoicing.
• We ensure consistent management of posting groups and dimensions within Business Central, identifying and implementing improvements proactively.
