Director, Full-Stack Engineer

Salary: £39,000 - 79,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive years of experience in development
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a similar field
• Experience in building mission critical systems, ideally in financial institutions
• Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment
• A results driven personality
• A passion for changing the status quo and driving out of the box thinking
• Ability to adapt and lead through change
• Prior experience of front office trading systems
• Low latency trading experience
• Co-location infrastructure knowledge
• Experience working with high performance messaging systems
• Hands-on development with FIX APIs

Responsibilities:

• Lead by example in system design, code quality and agile development to engineer scalable and performant solutions across the full software lifecycle
• Leverage AI to accelerate innovation and solution delivery and promote a culture of AI-led development
• Collaborate in small cross-functional agile teams of talented product managers, traders, sales teams and technologists focused on the client
• Drive continuous improvement within the team, with a focus on curiosity and growth mindset
• Work with Product Managers to devise and deliver new innovative FX products
• Provide mentorship and guidance across the team, fostering professional growth and technical development
