D365 Senior Functional Consultant (Supply Chain)

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant with proven configuration capability.
• Strong expertise across Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules: Inventory, Procurement & Sourcing, Purchase Orders, Product Information Management, and Landed Cost.
• Understanding of how Supply Chain Management transactions interact with Finance modules.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle and ongoing support/enhancement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality outcomes to tight deadlines.
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Expert.
• Desirable: E-commerce retail experience and familiarity with order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.
• Desirable: Experience with Finance modules and financial controls.
• Desirable: Experience with warehousing modules.
• Desirable: Power Platform experience, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and familiarity with Copilot Studio for process automation.

Responsibilities:

• Take long-term ownership of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain modules, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance.
• Lead functional design and configuration for Supply Chain modules, including Inventory, Procurement & Sourcing, Purchase Orders, Product Information Management, and Landed Cost.
• Collaborate with Finance and Tech teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
• Support testing cycles, including SIT and UAT, and ensure quality assurance of deliverables.
• Contribute to the design and functional support of integrations between Dynamics 365 and external and internal systems.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation using Power Platform and emerging AI capabilities.
• Provide training and cross-functional knowledge sharing to ensure adoption and smooth operations.
• Maintain robust documentation, configuration standards, and governance processes.
• Assist with data migration, configuration, and testing solutions before QA handover.
• Support the design of integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems.
• Utilise AI and Power Platform to make processes more efficient.
• Act as a trusted advisor and guide best practice for Supply Chain processes.
• Cross-train other employees on Supply Chain functionality and modules to enable a smooth cutover and long-term support capability.
• Provide people management of perm ASOSers and third-party functional resources.
• Work in person with the team at least 2 days a week in the office.
