Cloud & IT Manager

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong SQL experience, ideally with SQL Server or Azure SQL, is required.
• Experience with DevOps, automation, cybersecurity and compliance will be advantageous.
• We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• You should enjoy solving problems, improving processes and getting hands-on when required.
• You should be confident communicating with colleagues and stakeholders across different time zones.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub and Microsoft Teams would also be beneficial.
• Strong Azure experience is important.

Responsibilities:

• We will take responsibility for our Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring systems remain secure, scalable, reliable and cost-effective.
• We will support the wider technical team with DevOps, deployments, infrastructure setup and automation.
• We will ensure the business is prepared for disruption through effective backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• We will contribute to information security, risk management and technology-related compliance requirements.
• We will oversee internal IT operations, including equipment, technical support, suppliers, contracts and IT projects.
• We will influence technology decisions, manage budgets and identify ways to improve efficiency across our wider IT environment.
• We will take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, IT operations and security environment.
