Requirements:
  • Hold BPSS clearance (minimum requirement).
  • Be highly organised and proactive.
  • Be comfortable working on a live construction site.
  • Be skilled at coordinating people and analysing requirements.
  • Be confident challenging suppliers and driving actions to completion.
  • Be able to build relationships quickly across operational and technical teams.
  • Be pragmatic, delivery-focused, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  • Have experience coordinating complex infrastructure, facilities, telecommunications, networking, or connectivity projects.
  • Have experience with physical hardware fit design, planning, procurement, and installation for these activities.
  • Have experience working on large site mobilisation programmes.
  • Have experience working alongside Facilities Management, Site Operations, construction delivery, network and telecommunications engineering, infrastructure or IT operations teams, and internet or telephony service providers and contractors.
  • Have relevant qualifications and experience in one or more business architecture disciplines, such as process management, business analysis, management information, or IT system development.
  • Be able to understand business problems and translate them into clear, structured requirements.
  • Have experience delivering business architecture solutions that remove duplication and improve operational efficiency.
  • Be able to turn requirements into practical IT delivery packages, including processes, user stories, and data needs, and work comfortably with technical teams and concepts.
  • Be familiar with ONR licence conditions and cyber and nuclear security requirements relevant to IT-enabled change.
  • Have experience with formal project management approaches and tools, such as PRINCE2 or EDF Project Way.
  • Have experience with procurement activities, including RFI and ITT, and evaluation processes.
  • Have proven experience developing investment cases for large, complex programmes.
  • Be able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  • Have experience on another major capital project, such as HS2, Lower Thames Crossing, Thames Tideway, or TransPennine Route Upgrade.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Business Architecture Lead in defining, planning, and delivering Business Architecture projects for the Customers Digital & IT team.
  • Work with senior stakeholders and project teams to design effective, efficient business operating models aligned with strategy and delivering measurable benefits.
  • Remain engaged through development and implementation, manage evolving requirements, validate solutions, and support readiness for business adoption.
  • Receive delivery objectives from the Business Architecture Lead and work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain a broad understanding of Business Architecture disciplines, identifying interdependencies and ensuring integrated solutions.
  • Lead early-stage project definition, develop project mandates, and prepare investment cases.
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to identify best-fit solutions.
  • Operate within Customer Digital & IT governance structures, aligning with project management, procurement, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure solutions comply with industry standards and Customer licence obligations.
