• We require proficiency with documentation tools such as Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• We require critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
• We require strong communication skills, including clear written communication and the ability to present findings.
• We require the ability to produce well-structured documentation such as requirements packs, data dictionaries, process maps, benefits logs, and risk/impact assessments.

Responsibilities:

• We collect, manipulate, and process data.
• We review clinical and operational information to turn raw data into actionable insights.
• We analyse system outputs, logs, data extracts, and related documentation.
• We identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• We work with stakeholders to gather clarification and validation.
• We trace data fields, sources, and relationships to understand downstream impacts.
• We create diagrams, matrices, and structured outputs using documentation tools.
• We carry out root cause analysis using approaches such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and process tracing.
• We translate complex information into clear, decision-ready insights.
• We prepare documentation including requirements packs, data dictionaries, process maps, benefits logs, and risk/impact assessments.

We are a large consultancy supporting digital transformation within the NHS. The role is for a Business Analyst on an NHS IT review, working inside IR35 with a hybrid arrangement that includes a good percentage of remote working.
