Blue Prism Developer

Salary: £33,000 - 48,000 per year

Requirements:

• Security clearance is required for this role, either already held or with the ability to obtain it.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of C#, MVC v5 or newer, .NET Core (.NET 6 or newer), and Blazor frontend, with around 4 years of experience.
• Proficiency in web development technologies including jQuery, JSON, XML, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, LINQ, and Entity Framework.
• Ability to develop Windows Services and web services using WCF and Web API.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio 2022 or newer and TFS/DevOps 2022.
• Experience working in Change and Incident Management environments with strict SLAs.
• Ability to coordinate application releases and support seamless implementation processes.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Blue Prism solution development, enhancement, and support.
• Knowledge of Blue Prism Process and Business Object design, creation, and maintenance.
• Experience with Blue Prism Control Room operations, monitoring, scheduling, and queue management.
• Desirable: experience with .NET Core Razor Pages.
• Desirable: advanced SQL Server administration and management across versions 2014, 2016, and 2022.
• Desirable: experience with Telerik Kendo Tools, JavaScript, Ajax, Entity Framework 6.0, LINQ, Lambda expressions, Razor syntax, PowerShell, and SSIS packages.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in client and user meetings, communicating issues and solutions clearly.
• Analyse and model user requirements, including information flows, processes, data objects, and user-system dialogues.
• Create technical solutions from logical specifications while considering technical constraints.
• Construct, modify, test, and correct complex program modules based on specifications.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
• Define software modules for integration, ensure compliance with test criteria, and prepare software builds for implementation.
• Assist in defining, planning, and justifying new projects or changes to business processes.
• Perform all stages of business systems development, including software development and package implementation.
• Ensure rigorous documentation and adherence to agreed technical and quality standards.
• Manage support and maintenance requirements as needed.
• Take a lead role in our Blue Prism platform administration and ownership.
• Operate with considerable autonomy and take responsibility for work and decisions.
• Occasionally supervise others within the team.
• Approach problems systematically with a disciplined and analytical mindset.
• Work professionally with clients and internal customers.
• Provide out-of-hours support and on-call availability when required.
