BI Analyst

Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI
• Advanced Excel and Power Query skills
• Ability to write and optimise DAX
• Solid understanding of database and data model design
• Desirable: experience with Python or Apache Airflow
• Desirable: experience with SSRS or Power BI Report Builder
• Desirable: experience with automation tools
• We are looking for a self-driven, curious problem-solver who is comfortable working across multiple areas as part of an SME

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior managers to define KPIs and communicate data-driven concepts across departments
• Build internal and external reports in Power BI and SQL to help colleagues understand performance and drive change
• Plan and execute ad-hoc analytical projects using SQL and Excel
• Provide technical advice as the resident database expert
• Contribute to SQL and report reviews
• Support development projects by advising on performance and data-related decisions
• Work across ETL pipelines and front-end report design as needed
• Deliver insights that help steer critical business decisions
