Back-End Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for strong software engineering skills: the ability to translate functional requirements into an elegant and simple design, then deliver the code.
• We want engineers who understand product and customer needs in detail and can suggest innovative ideas.
• We require experience as a software engineer working on a product in production.
• We look for demonstrated experience in infrastructure, including Kubernetes, IaC tooling, and public cloud.
• We want proven experience designing object-oriented software with languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby.
• We value great team spirit, a problem-solving attitude, humility, and a willingness to grow.

Responsibilities:

• We develop our SaaS platform and build a comprehensive, user-friendly product.
• We participate in the entire application development lifecycle, focusing on design, coding, and keeping the production platform up and running.
• We work across the stack, with no strict separation between backend and frontend.
• We choose the most relevant tools for the problem we need to solve, balancing strengths and constraints of each technology.
• We help teams work effectively and autonomously.
• We deliver value to end users by understanding product needs and proposing innovative ideas.
