  • We have extensive and proven experience deploying and managing compute, storage, networking and identity in Microsoft Azure at global scale.

  • We understand Entra ID, RBAC, conditional access and secure cloud configuration.
  • We have knowledge of Azure Backup and Site Recovery for business continuity.
  • Desirable: deeper orchestration experience with AKS or Azure Container Apps.
  • Desirable: experience with real-time or IoT platforms, including MQTT.
  • Desirable: exposure to Linux server administration.

  • We can reliably commute to Preston PR4 2SH or plan to relocate before starting work.
  • We are authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
  • We design, build and maintain the build and release pipelines that deliver our software to Azure.
  • We automate deployments so releases are consistent, repeatable and low risk.
  • We work with the development team to improve build times, feedback loops and developer experience.
  • We manage versioning, artefact storage and release approvals in line with our change management process.
  • We support safe deployment practices such as staged rollouts, blue/green deployments and rollback.
  • We act as the internal technical owner of the Azure estate, maintaining a clear picture of what we run and why.
  • We define infrastructure standards, naming conventions, tagging and configuration baselines.
  • We maintain Infrastructure as Code so environments are documented, version-controlled and reproducible.
  • We oversee networking, identity, storage and compute configuration across the platform.
  • We administer Entra ID, role-based access control, conditional access and MFA policies to maintain least-privilege access.
  • We act as the primary technical point of contact between Audiebant and our managed service partner.
  • We review and assure work carried out by the partner, ensuring it meets our standards before it reaches production.
  • We coordinate and approve change requests, planned maintenance and escalations.
  • We hold the partner to account on service levels, response times and delivery commitments.
  • We feed into technical reviews, architecture decisions and the platform roadmap.
  • We ensure knowledge and documentation remain within Audiebant rather than sitting solely with the partner.
  • We build and maintain development, test, staging and production environments.
  • We ensure environments are consistent so testing is meaningful.
  • We support the QA team with test data management, environment refreshes and automated test execution within the pipeline.
  • We work with the QA team to test infrastructure and environment changes as part of development and release, validating they meet requirements before production.
  • We reduce the time it takes to stand up or reset an environment.
  • We set up and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting across applications and infrastructure.
  • We build dashboards that give the development team visibility of system health and performance.
  • We investigate performance, connectivity and reliability issues, working with the partner where escalation is needed.
  • We take part in incident response, root cause analysis and post-incident improvement.
  • We contribute to resilience and disaster recovery planning, including backup configuration and restore testing.
  • We ensure infrastructure and deployment practices support our ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications.
  • We manage secrets, certificates and credentials securely, including renewal and expiry monitoring.
  • We embed security scanning and dependency checking into the build pipeline.
  • We maintain patching and vulnerability management schedules with the managed service partner.
