Salary: £48,000 - 68,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require proven hands-on development experience with the Avaloq Banking Suite (5+ years).
• We require mandatory, demonstrable experience with the Avaloq CRM module (5+ years).
• We require mandatory, demonstrable experience with the Avaloq Cost and Fees module, including fee schedules, billing/tariff configuration, and cost calculations.
• We require strong scripting/development experience within Avaloq, including Business Rule Framework, Script Language, or equivalent.
• We require a solid understanding of core banking and wealth management business processes, including client onboarding, relationship management, billing, and fee structures.
• We require experience with SQL and relational databases for data analysis, debugging, and reporting.
• We require experience working through the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test, and deploy.
• We require strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• We require good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across distributed/global teams.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Avaloq certifications are advantageous.
• Avaloq certification(s), particularly in CRM or Cost and Fees modules, are nice to have.
• Experience with other Avaloq modules, such as Front, Wealth, Reporting, or Payments, is nice to have.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments is nice to have.
• Exposure to regulatory-driven change within a banking or wealth management context is nice to have.
• Experience working in a global delivery model spanning UK and India teams is nice to have.

Responsibilities:

• We design, develop, and configure solutions within the Avaloq CRM module, supporting client relationship management, contact management, and workflow processes.
• We design, develop, and configure solutions within the Avaloq Cost and Fees module, including fee schedules, billing rules, tariff structures, and cost calculation logic.
• We write and maintain Avaloq scripts using the Business Rule Framework, PL/1-based scripting, and Script Language as applicable.
• We translate functional specifications and business requirements into technical designs and working Avaloq configurations.
• We perform unit testing, support system integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing.
• We investigate, diagnose, and resolve defects across CRM and Cost and Fees functionality, including production incidents.
• We collaborate with business analysts and product owners to refine requirements and ensure fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
• We support release management activities, including code migration, deployment, and post-release validation.
• We produce clear technical documentation, including design specifications, test scripts, and release notes.
• We participate in code reviews and adhere to Avaloq development standards and best practices.
• We support upgrade and migration projects affecting CRM and Cost and Fees functionality.
• We liaise with Avaloq vendor support teams where required to resolve platform-level issues.
