Associate AI Engineer

Salary: £49,000 - 89,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a strong graduate or someone with 1–2 years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities:

• We build internal AI-powered tools that automate operational tasks or improve team workflows.
• We connect LLMs and AI services to existing systems, APIs, and business data.
• We help develop platform features across PMN and adjacent services.
• We write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with support from senior engineers.
• We experiment with AI tooling and help evaluate where it can add value to the business.
• We support debugging, monitoring, and ongoing improvements to live applications.
• We collaborate with product and engineering peers to turn validated concepts into production-ready tools.
• We contribute to the development of PMN platform features and internal applications.
• We build lightweight AI-enabled tools and workflow automations that solve real business problems.
• We integrate APIs, services, and data sources across the InvestCloud ecosystem.
• We work across backend services, internal tooling, and cloud-based applications.
• We apply modern AI tooling such as LLMs, retrieval workflows, and prompt engineering in practical use cases.
• We help prototype and productionize AI-powered applications.
• We learn and apply best practices around evaluation, reliability, and responsible AI usage.
• We explore opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and intelligent tooling.
• We write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
