Salary: £70,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Strong foundation in security best practices and working knowledge of Kubernetes and major cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of technologies including Kubernetes, container runtimes, SPIFFE/SPIRE, Linux/Unix, cloud networking, cloud IAM, cloud databases, Go or Python, infrastructure-as-code tools, Git, CI/CD tools, and secrets management is valuable; expertise in all is not expected
  • Ability to work directly with customer stakeholders at all levels and translate between domains such as information security, operations, product R&D, and senior leadership
  • Comfort working in complex, ambiguous problem spaces and designing pragmatic solutions based on customer needs
  • Ability to communicate with empathy, patience, positivity, and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to move between high-level architecture and implementation details
  • Willingness and ability to learn unfamiliar domains and become a subject matter expert
  • Ability to build confidence and restore calm in tense situations, including customer escalations and high-impact service outages
  • Pragmatic approach focused on meaningful customer value
  • Enthusiasm and team fit are valued; we can consider candidates for lower-level positions where experience needs further development

Responsibilities:
  • Lead customer engagements, including scoping work, directing team members, serving as the primary contact for project stakeholders, running calls and workshops, and providing project updates
  • Work directly with customers to understand, plan, and implement complex product use cases in business-critical environments
  • Develop custom integrations and navigate complex deployment environments
  • Apply and communicate cloud security best practices
  • Initiate and contribute to internal initiatives
  • Participate in team and group strategy and goal-setting activities
  • Mentor peers and provide regular feedback to support their personal and professional development
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders across operations, security, and engineering teams
  • Help customers clarify their needs and design and implement practical solutions
