Senior Software Developer

Salary: £44,000 - 84,000 per year

Requirements:

• Approximately 2–3 years of experience in software development, ideally with exposure to cloud and AI development
• Proven experience working in teams in complex, fast-paced environments
• Strong understanding of modern delivery methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and hybrid models, and governance practices
• Structured communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership of challenges and deliver solutions
• Comfort working with ambiguity and maintaining clarity and momentum as scopes evolve
• Strong interest in continuous learning and emerging technologies, including real-world AI applications
• Experience in regulated or complex sectors, such as financial services, and consulting or client-facing delivery experience are preferred

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable software solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using appropriate technologies and frameworks
• Contribute to architecture discussions and design sessions for new features and projects
• Review code for compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and clearly articulate trade-offs
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across environments and support automated testing activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, stay current with industry trends, and support internal innovation and accelerators
• Bring a strong technology perspective to client challenges and mentor junior team members
• Help organisations embed AI into real-world operations by developing agentic AI solutions, likely on cloud infrastructure, across the technology stack
• Collaborate with the team to help customers achieve their AI goals and adapt to new technologies and approaches
