Data Analytics Developer

Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines, notebooks and semantic models.
• Advanced Power BI skills, including dashboard development, data modelling, DAX measures and reporting best practices.
• Strong data modelling and data engineering experience, including SQL, data ingestion, transformation and pipeline development.
• Experience working with modern data platforms and collaborating with data engineering teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to turn complex requirements into meaningful insights.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, permissions, lineage and enterprise reporting standards.
• Ideally, exposure to Microsoft Foundry, Fabric Data Agents and AI-enabled analytics, Service Principals and Azure App registrations, API integrations and token-based authentication, and Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust data models, semantic models, datasets, dashboards and analytics products.
• Build and enhance solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines and notebooks.
• Create engaging and insightful Power BI dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Help develop and mature our enterprise data lake, ensuring data is governed, accessible and AI-ready.
• Support the development of Fabric Data Agents, Microsoft Foundry solutions and AI-enabled analytics products.
• Work with stakeholders to translate business challenges into practical data solutions.
• Contribute to data governance, security, documentation and continuous improvement across our analytics estate.
