Technical Product Manager

Salary: £28,000 - 68,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and E&I teams to make technical trade-offs and decisions
• Ensure products meet required technical standards and performance expectations
• Interpret technical requirements and translate them into specifications for new and existing products
• Take technical ownership of the Medica product range, resolve quality issues, and support technical application enquiries
• Monitor and optimise the technical product lifecycle, including development, deployment, maintenance, and upgrades
• Support the creation of operator manuals, technical documentation, and training materials
• Deliver selected technical training to internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain, document, and share product knowledge across the organisation
• Align technical and business stakeholders on goals, expectations, and technical decisions
• Work with the Medica Product Manager, Marketing, Technical Support, and Engineering to ensure the products technical direction supports business needs
• Gather and analyse technical feedback from customers and internal teams to inform product improvements and prioritisation
• Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and provide application-based support
• Participate in beta testing, provide on-site technical input, and gather real-world performance insights
• Build partnerships with customers, distributors, and external networks to support product success
• Travel globally, sometimes independently, to visit customers for beta testing, technical investigations, and quality-related activities

The role is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, and involves shaping the portfolios technical direction and supporting its development and performance.
