Employment Law Product Specialist

Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• We will rely on you to evaluate and test platform data and outputs across employment-focused assessments, ensuring quality and accuracy before release.
• We will ask you to design test cases and model answers to assess platform performance across scenarios and use cases.
• You will identify errors, inconsistencies, anomalies, and edge cases, and analyse patterns to help uncover root causes.
• You will provide actionable feedback to Product Managers and developers and validate that fixes resolve identified issues.
• You will support Product Managers with day-to-day evaluations, data preparation, and competing priorities while maintaining quality standards.
• You will help improve QA processes, evaluation frameworks, and documentation, handle sensitive data responsibly, and feed insights into product decisions.
• You will contribute legal insight and ideas to help shape new product features.
• You will stay up to date with legal technology and AI developments and consider how they could improve our platform.
• You will help translate legal requirements into practical platform improvements, acting as a link between legal expertise and product development.

We are offering a home-based Employment Law Product Specialist role with a Manchester-based legal technology client, paying £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience, with an October start. The role is a hands-on quality and analysis position, working with our Product Managers and Development Team to support an AI-powered platform. It offers an opportunity to apply employment law experience in Legal Tech rather than traditional fee-earning work; AI expertise is not required. The role is fully remote, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, for 35 hours per week. Our team meets in the Manchester office once a month for a catch-up.
