Senior Business Analyst - Commercial and Operations

Requirements:

• Proven Senior Business Analyst experience within SAP transformation programmes.
• Strong hands-on SAP ECC knowledge.
• Experience within Oil & Gas Midstream Commercial and Operational processes.
• Knowledge of Trading, Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain or Inventory Management.
• Strong requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and documentation skills.
• Proven business process mapping and gap analysis experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience supporting UAT and business readiness activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working within complex, enterprise-scale transformation environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead workshops to gather, analyse and validate business requirements.
• Drive business process and solution design across Commercial & Operations functions.
• Act as the link between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Perform process mapping, gap analysis and business impact assessments.
• Support SAP ECC solution design and process improvement initiatives.
• Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support testing, business validation and user acceptance activities.
• Engage with stakeholders across Commercial, Operations, Trading and Shipping functions.
• Support the delivery of a large-scale business transformation programme.

We are recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst – Commercial and Operations based in London, with 2–3 days per week onsite. This is a 12-month engagement with a day rate of £700 inside IR35. We are supporting a major European transformation programme centred around SAP ECC and integrations with trading, shipping and other bespoke business applications. The role sits at the heart of business design activity, working closely with stakeholders and technology delivery teams across a complex, large-scale transformation environment.
