Tanium Engineer

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience administering Tanium in a medium to large enterprise environment.
• Experience with endpoint security products, ideally SentinelOne.
• Strong understanding of endpoint management, cyber security and IT operations.
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Python.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux and macOS.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA) certification is desirable.
• Experience working within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), or other highly regulated environments, would be beneficial.
• We require the full and permanent right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Tanium and SentinelOne across enterprise environments.
• Manage Tanium modules including Asset, Patch, Deploy, Threat Response and Comply.
• Develop dashboards, reports and queries to support security and IT operations.
• Troubleshoot endpoint visibility, patching and software deployment issues.
• Support the integration of endpoint security platforms with wider IT and security tooling.
• Monitor platform performance and maintain high availability.
• Support audits and compliance with internal and external security standards.
• Develop automation and reporting using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.

We are offering a 6-month fixed-term contract for a Tanium Engineer supporting a large and complex enterprise environment. This is a hands-on role focused on endpoint security platforms, with monthly travel to Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, Bristol, Cardiff or Warwick. We offer a total package of between £100,000 and £121,000 pro rata, with some flexibility for the right candidate. The role provides the opportunity to take ownership of key security tools, work across a broad technology environment and contribute to ongoing security improvements.
