Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience administering and developing within BMC Helix ITSM.
• Extensive knowledge of Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, CMDB, Asset Management, and Smart IT.
• Experience configuring enterprise service management processes.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, and XML.
• Knowledge of BMC Helix Integration Service (iPaaS).
• Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.
• Desirable: BMC Certified Professional certifications.
• Desirable: ITIL Managing Professional or higher.
• Desirable: Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certification.
• Desirable: Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Desirable: Security Clearance (SC).

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain BMC Helix ITSM solutions.
• Administer and enhance core ITSM modules including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, CMDB, Asset Management, and Smart IT.
• Develop and maintain AR System workflows, including Active Links, Filters, Escalations, and Menu Objects.
• Configure and develop applications using BMC Helix Innovation Studio.
• Implement workflow automation and self-service capabilities across the platform.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot BMC Helix environments within cloud and containerised infrastructures.
• Build and support integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, XML, and BMC Helix Integration Services.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Support CI/CD and deployment pipelines using Jenkins and Ansible.
• Participate in platform upgrades, patching, migrations, and performance optimisation activities.
• Monitor platform health and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, development, security, and service management.
• Produce technical documentation, solution designs, and operational procedures.
